The food is always very tasty. Everybody who is working from the servers to the cashier to the bartenders are always ready to help you to get you what you need and no matter how packed it is there always seems to be a place for you to sit and enjoy some amazing barbecue. “ I'm a bit of a one trick pony here, but I find myself going back again and again for the half chicken plate, all dark meat. Coleslaw and beans. You just can't go wrong here. The barbecue sauce is tangy, they always have a good beer on tap. The chicken is tender and perfect, and I eat it all the way to a clean bone. And it's enough food to split with my girlfriend. A fair price, perfectly cooked, can't go wrong. I can't speak for the other dishes because I'm not bothering to try them lol. ”
“ 11/25/24 Good ole Yelp! Typed in bbq in Temecula & we were directed HERE at Phil's BBQ. Our parents left it up to us siblings to choose our food place. Dad won a few bucks at the slots in Pechanga so it was his treat. What a great choice. There was no waiting, pretty deserted at 3:30 pm on a Monday. We ordered a family meal: choice of beef ribs, baby back ribs, whole bbq chicken & sausage, for two sides, baked beans & french fries. It also comes with salad, a round container of cornbread. The total was for $160 & it fed 7 hungry people, plus some leftovers for lunch tomorrow. After ordering. we picked out table & collected our utensils The food was ready. The pzger went off & my brother picked it up at the counter. It came out HOT & oh so good! Both the baby back & beef were seasoned to perfection (bbq sauce on the side), tender & juicy! Even the chicken! So delicious! The cornbread was good with bits of kernel corn, whipped butter provided. The order taker at the counter was efficient. I love that there is a dedicated hand washing station by the soda fountain--very convenient. The restrooms were clean. stocked. Would definitely return if ever in the area & have a hankering for Bbq. ”
“ Amazing spot! Good food, portions, quality...checks all the boxes. Excellent service. Cool ambience. A big restaurant with a large seated full bar. TV's everywhere and game scores. We get the boneless chicken breast and ribs and the philibuster burger with one patty instead of two. Sides are typically the macaroni salad (best I've ever had), potato salad, fries and beans. It hits the spot every time! We have been coming here for years and the food and service is always consistent. Highly recommend! Bon appetite! ”
